Tisha B'Av

Saturday evening, August 2 – Sunday, August 3

Members of the congregation will chant the Book of Eicha (Lamentations) by candlelight as we commemorate the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem and other tragic events in Jewish history. It is customary not to wear leather shoes and to wear comfortable clothes in order to sit on the floor.  Candles will be provided, but those attending are encouraged to bring a flashlight.
