CHANUKAH BLESSINGS
The Chanukah candles are placed in the Chanukiya from right to left. Light the Shamash first (the highest flame), and then light the candles from left to right so that the newly added candle is kindled first.

These first two brakhot are said on each of the eight nights:

Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha-olam, asher kidshanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu l'hadlik ner shel Hanukah.

Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha-olam, she'asah nissim la-avoteinu ba-yamim ha-hem ba-z'man hazeh.

This brakhah is said only on the first night:

Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha-olam, shehekheyanu, v'kiy'manu, v'higiyanu la-z'man hazeh.
