HJC will host the Community Holocaust Memorial Service on Thursday evening, May 1st at 7:30pm. The theme of the service will be The Shoah: The Next Generations Remembers. Cari K., a teenager from our congregation, will be sharing her impressions of her visit to Eastern Europe and children of survivors from Temple Beth El and Kehillat Shalom will also speak. We hope you will join us and help to welcome our guests from the community.

HJC ISRAEL FAIR, Sunday, May 4th, 10:00-12noon
The entire congregation is invited to join the fun as HJC celebrates Israel's 60th birthday, You will be given a passport and will start your journey to experience Israeli culture in dance, food and art. There is no cost for the fair. However, we would appreciate a donation of $5 per family which will go to "Hazon". Hazon means vision. Their vision is to create a healthier and more sustainable Jewish community - as a step towards a healthier and more sustainable world for all.
